The mission of Glenergy Inc. is to help people not have to burn fuel for basic energy needs. Solar energy is a reliable source of energy that can be used to light rooms and cook food. Our goal for our solar cookers is to have them locally manufactured in Africa and sold in the local community.
We are sending some of our new cookers to Kenya and will be looking to make more there, using local materials.
Want to help us in pursuit of our mission? You can become a recipe tester, seller or manufacturer of Glenergy's solar cooker.
Recipe Testers: We are looking for homecooks, restaurant chefs, street food vendors, or anyone interested in finding new ways of cooking their favorite dishes. If you are cooking for a family, local community, or a large group, the Glenergy Solar Cooker can help you do so with less fuel.
Manufacturers: Are you interested in making parts, or do you have storage space available, or have extra material? Glenergy is looking for partners to fill the supply chain.
Selling: Do you own a business, have a storefront or are interested in sales? We are looking for someone in Africa who has experience in sales or has customers interested in alternative forms of cooking.
Invest: Interested in solar energy and alternative cooking? Glenergy is planning on launching a locally made solar cooker in Africa that you can help support! Investments or donations of any size are welcome and we will keep you updated on our progress.
Donate: By donating you will help us reduce the capital barriers to implementing and promote solar cooking in under serviced areas in East Africa.
